Have you heard of Skype? Well Skype is a PC to PC telephony program which lets you communicate with the rest of the world, well as long as they have a PC connected to the internet.

So now you have Skype all you need to do is download Family Bingo Night, call your family on a conference call so you can all hear each other, decide whos going to be the bingo caller, and everyone else has a bingo card in front of them and away you go.
You will also need to down load the game server application which makes your computer into a game server so everyone can connect to the bingo game.

Family Quiz night is exeactly like Family Bingo Night, you get on Skype or any other Internet Telephony Software ( Skype recormmended as we have used it on skype) start a conference call with your friends and family decide who will be the quizz master asking the questions, and everyone else logs in as a contestant. Let the quizz begin, oh how funny it is when the quizz master lets the power go to their head and starts barring people from answering the next question, or starts taking points from argumentative people. once again you will also need to download the game server so everyone can connect to the quizz master.

The Family Fun Server Must Be Downloaded and installed on one computer only, every one needs to have the IP address for the server this will be the IP address of the computer on which the server is installed on. If you have a fire wall running this program needs to be able to connect to the internet so allow it through, also if your PC where the game server is installed is connecting through a router then you will probably have to set up the ports for forwarding. the ports to forward is 1203 this can be done through your router home page.

If your having trouble port forwarding look on the internet for your routers web site and search for how to port forward, this only has to be done once then your computer and router will rember these settings.
